Snowy Day Blessings

Well, it has been another snowy day here in Western Pa.  We've gotten another 8 inches of snow was a beautiful, steady snow that lasted from around 6:30 a.m., until 5:00 p.m.

Justin went out and shoveled his snow shoveling job early this morning, then had to do it again around 4:00 p.m.  There was another 5 inches from the time he had done it  early this morning.

I did some baking this afternoon...made 4 dozen chocolate chip cookies for the children, and hubby.

I put a roasting chicken in the oven to bake for our dinner this evening.   It was one I was able to get at the store for only $2.70 for a 5.36 lb. chicken...not to bad, considering it will feed the 4 of us, and we will be able to make two meals from it.

I saw this picture, and it reminded me of the beautiful snow we have today, and how kindness can beautify everyone it comes in contact with.

May you enjoy a peace filled evening!

Here are some pictures from November 2011. We had Justin's 7th birthday, Bethie's 17th birthday, Ethan's playoff game in Altoona, a trip to Cabela's, and some other ones.

It has been a good day warmed up, and the snow is almost all melted, so, that makes it a really good day!

Until later...Marsha

Just thought I post a few pictures from around our home the last two days...what a difference a day makes...that's all I can say.
